Fabulous! Great skiing and snowboarding! Its the best boarding in Oregon if you ask me! I grew up in Oregon and we’ve got some great mountains, but Hood is the best!

Not to mention that its open EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR!
Nothing like boarding in July!!

One summer we went to Oregon to windsurf on the Columbia River and snowboard on Mt. Hood. In the morning before the wind came up we would head up to Mt. Hood, ride, and go sailing in the afternoon. The entire week we were there, it was over 100 degrees! The day we drove up to the mountain, we found that the parking lot had just been paved and because it was so hot, the tar was melting. We had to put duct tape on our boots to keep from getting tar all over the soles while we walked to the chair. It was a mess!

It’s a great place to snowboard, and definately worth visiting. I’m so glad I’m just an hour away from this place! I go up every year even if it’s just to chill out at the lounge in the meadows lodge. Oh yeah, meadows is definately a better place to board than timberline.

More incredible snowboarding is to be had here and I want to take it all in!!

Clean air and water, healthy activities, fresh food and really nice people, even when they are driving! I love this town and visit as often as possible.

I went to Mount Hood Snowboard Camp here. It was really fun.

Timothy Lake right behind Mt. Hood is just beautiful. there are alot of public camp grounds. very fun!
