Vail

I went to Vail for 5 days, I took two snowboarding lessons it as really lots of fun :)
I also went dog sledding :D the dogs are sooo cute. The ride was kewl and kinda funny and stinky :P they run and poo at the same time just like horses, it was really funny.
This trip was definitely worth it and lots of fun :D

My three best friends and I took a road trip to Vail, It was perfect.
I would love to go back.

tons of tourist and foreigners, some locals to but not worth it in my views check out other places and take a day here

I was there in the summer, but I totally want to go back. I can just imagine how cozy it must be in the winter, great to take a girlfriend for the weekend. Cold, snow, skiing, and the cute little ski villages all around town. Nice restaurant scene too, a bit pricy though.

My favorite place in Colorado

and was surprised how fun it was to be in a ski town in the off season. The views were still spectacular, things were a little bit cheaper and I enjoyed my time there.

Vail is a good place for rich people that don’t know how to ski, and who like paying for overpriced lunches in a remote part of the Colorado Rockies that takes FOREVER to get to.

We went there on Thanksgiving 2004. We had an amazing time! The views were unbelievable! It was just the begining of the season, so not all the slopes were open though.
I have learned to ski there. It was quite frustrating at times. Espessially, when you see all those little kids skiing like pros right beside you! It was totally worth it though. The second day on the slopes I had so much fun, I could hardly get myself back to the hotel room.
It was snowing really hard the night before we left, so in the morning everything around us looked like Snow Queen Kingdom!

I was moving from Georgia to Alaska when we ran out of money. Food thing for us, we had friends in RedCliff, CO. We stayed with them, worked, moved to Vail. Great place. Clean air, clean grounds, clean roads, clean highways. Plenty of places to hike, bike, snoweshoe. Had a porcupine visit us on the front porch. Had a black bear visit out trash can. The worst thing about Vail was driving on the highway – black ice!! Can’t see it. My husband spun his car twice and I ran into a semi once and a guardrail once. Still, would love to go back.

Pazzo’s! Oh and, of course, the skiing is fantastic – especially if you have a sense of adventure and are willing to hit the back trails.
