Patagonia

If you have been to Patagonia or are planning to go, make sure you eat calafate berries ie fresh or icecream and you will always return to Patagonia. The first time i went I was in my mothers belly and she was 8 months pregnant. I have been returning every year for the past 6.

I just grew up in one simple city in the north of the pataonia, not really the kind of place the Patagonia is famous for…

It is an amazing experience. The best way to enjoy your stay is as backpackers. Good luck, I hope you can do this!

The air has a different quality, it’s clearer, thinner, colors shine. I loved it.

I’ll admit, my main motivation for going to Patagonia is getting up close and personal with some penguins.

One of the most beautiful places I´ve ever been, wich natures prove that is bigger than everything, with it´s silence and open spaces…
I wish I could spent there a lot of weeks just painting in front of Argentine lake at El Calafate, taking pictures, and drinking beer with my friends who live there…

it looks like October is not going to happen… (slapping back of hand to forehead and facing away in dramatic agony)

October is only 9 workdays this year, because of an amazing constellation of the Jewish holidays marking the beginning of the Jewish year. not being religious myself, i will try to make the most out of this time of year, but apparently not in patagonia. or anywhere else for that matter. as it happens, we should have thought about it much earlier, since almost ALL TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT TO MERELY GET OUT OF THE COUNTRY.

And I thought i was the first to notice the great holiday potential. you have to admit that getting to patagonia in a week and 9 legs, (one of which being a camel’s leg ;o) is not really tempting… (i always exaggereate)

Dear hubby and I are aiming for January. It will be after my triathlon (cross fingers you guys!) and in a better weather.
