Museum Of Modern Art aka: MOMA

Well, I went to the museum store recently! I wanted to get the clouds umbrella. They have a lot of great things there!

Allow yourself at least a full day to visit.

again and again. This was amazing and I can’t believe it took me so long to get here. They have Target free friday nights—or spend the money…it’s worth it.

who needs a full day when you can go for free from 4-8pm on tight-arse fridays (aka Target Fridays)? I spent most of my time on floor five, which has the early modern artists, your van goghs and your picassos, rather than your plain black canvas types. I also enjoyed some of the older photographs in the photography section. Also, the food here is nice.

Get there as early as you can, you will need a full day to appreciate this. Take the audio tour, especially if you have a travel partner who is not as ‘into’ art as you are. A Citypass is a worthwhile investment, it gets you into several other attractions in Manhattan at roughly halfprice, and gets you into the member’s cue at MoMA.

I was like 8 when i went!

I went there and had seen Salivador Dali’s ‘Persistence of Memory’ and the detail that Salivador Dali put into that is down right amazing. It was a little bigger than a sheet of paper. I will always treasure that…

Funnily enough, I ran into Matt Lucas whilst I was wandering around! I found it amusing that I was in New York and managed to meet a British celebrity!!

the building alone is worthy seeing before you mention the content, budget half a day to see it though or you could be rushing round a little.

But the new one is still great and absolutely worth visiting.
