Lake Louise

Αυτή η θέση σε αριθμό 2 στον κατάλογο θέσεών μου που επισκέπτονται.       

Έχω δημιουργήσει έναν μακρύ κατάλογο. Το ταξίδι της Canada μου θα είναι αξιοσημείωτο.       

They say Lake Louise is known for its Diminutive Fish. I couldn’t see them but it was fun looking for them

consolidating this & Banff into Alberta on my list…

Absolutely amazing! Take the hike up to the teahouse, it is worth it. Also, the restaurant in the hotel has awesome cauliflower puree soup…if its still on the menu.

Go in mid or late summer, otherwise the lake will be frozen over. Not cool.

Take the (somewhat long) hike up to the tea houses at the upper lake. It’s totally worth it and the tea/sandwiches are great. The feeling of isolation is amazing—definitely go.
At the actual Lake Louise, look around the hotel. It’s beautiful. We were even there on a day they were making a movie about the hotel…

Spent a week here during February 2005. Stayed at the Fairmont Lake Louise, which is right on the lake, and had a blast.

Awesome snowboarding/skiing and beautiful scenery. Careful though, the weather is pretty random. Snow one day, and then 20ºC the next!
