Lake Louise

I’ve been here in the Summer and Winter. Both were great. Skiing is great in Winter and the lake is beautiful in the Summer.

should spend a day to walk up the fair view mountain.

It’s so beautiful, whether it’s Summer or Winter. You have to take photos of this place if nothing else.

Went there in the middle of September-the day was a bit cold and rainy, but we were determined to go. Drove up the mountain and walked down to the lake-absolutely beautiful and breath-taking, despite the cold! Started to snow just a bit while we were taking pictures. Would love to go again in both the spring and winter, just to see what it’s like. Would also love to stay at the Chalet and go hiking after reading all the reviews. This is a must-see!

The Chateau is beautiful with great service. The view is breathtaking at all times of the year. The Gondola ride gives you a great view of the Chateau and Lake Louise. Worth taking.

The lake was gorgeous!!! We went last week and we wished we could’ve spent more time there…

One beautiful summer in the 90’s I took a glorious hiking and biking trip to the Canadian Rockies. One of the places the group stopped but did not hike was in the trail network at Lake Louise.

When the organized trip was over, I had an extra day, it was raining hard and was cold but I decided I could manage a couple of miles up into the woods for a spectacular cup of tea.

Along the way I encountered many intrepid hikers and a group of travellers on horseback—what was odd to me was that these enormous animals were led up the trail by a jack russell terrier that kept them in line.

It made for a pretty charming scene, rain and all.

One of the most spectacluar spots in Canada, and one of the best in the world. Amazing! So gorgeous. Stay at the Chateau on the Lake. WOW!!! I hope to go back!

haven’t been in non ski months

I have been here in the heart of summer and the dead of winter for skiing. Both visits were stunning. Skiing on those mountains is absolutely breathtaking, and the snow is incredible. I highly recommend it at any time of the year.
