A story about this place, or, how this might actually happen:

I received an invitation to visit London in September. My friend and a few other people are going, and he asked if I wanted to go with them. Of course, I said yes :) I’m just afraid to get my hopes up too much, but I’m excited nonetheless!

it was really amazing, totally different culture, language, food, everything! we stayed out in the countryside outside of the dirt and chaos of london and we really enjoyed ourselves (me and my parents).

How I did it: my parents had to spend a long time planning the trip day by day, booking our flights, booking our stays at the bed and breakfasts we stayed at in the country, and making sure we got to see as many things as possible (both touristy and off the beaten path).

Lessons & tips: DONT OVERSCHEDULE YOURSELF! we had so much to do, i dont remember a lot of it because i was so wiped out! oh, and beware of the stinky cheese- my mom found out the hard way. oh, and if you ride the underground (the subway) in london, when you blow your nose at the end of the day your mucus will be black- so prepare yourself.

I really long to go to England. It’s unfortunate that I haven’t always been interested in this country. I am now a fervent anglophile. I am fascinated and love anything that is English. I love the English culture and English food. I would give any thing to go to the country of my dreams, and hopefully live there if I end up making enough money. I am currently 14 years old and am a freshman in high school. I hopefully have lots of time.

Living in Whistler, BC, I have met so many British people and the large majority of them have been so kind and great to hang out with. Now that I have contacts, I’d love to do a good month of couch surfing around the country and see more than just touristy London. I’m hoping for next summer!

I live here – and love it :) England might be a tiny country size-wise, but there’s so much to do and see here. Of course there’s my hometown London, but you shouldn’t miss out on other lovely areas like the Lake District and Cornwall. One day I’ll get around to visiting all the counties – there are still loads that I haven’t managed to get to!

I really would love to go to England. I wish i could go, but I have no one to go with. England sounds so appealing honestly. Everyone says that London is so expensive. I guess if you can’t live there, mine as well get a taste of it. :) But yeah, I’d like to visit here someday, seriously.

One day I’m going to a Queeen Online meet-up. Just a matter of time. :-D

OMG…I leave for my trip on Saturday! I can’t believe I’m going to England. I don’t know if I’ll be able to move once I step out of that airport…Heathrow! See! I’m excited about just being in the airport! It’s gonna be an insane 10 days….wow. I am overcome at just the thought.
