Went last summer and every mile was worth it. Some of the most beautiful landscapes in North America and an expertly managed National Park.

I made my first big motorcycle trip to Jasper from California and spent a week there. It was beautiful. We canoed on Maligne Lake. It was like a postcard. Friendly people.

The ice fields are something worth seeing and understanding how they came about.

It’s just as pretty as Banff and not as busy.

My husband and I took a road trip through the Canadian rockies 3 1/2 years ago for my 27th birthday. I saw panoramic views of jagged snow-crested peaks, glaciers, waterfall laden cliffs, and mountain prairies speckled with big horn sheep. We took some of the most amazing hikes we’ve ever taken. We slept near the base of one of the most beautiful waterfalls I’ve ever seen on my birthday. And we saw a herd of I think they were Elk cross a river near Jasper. Bellisimo.
