Great views of the falls from the Brazilian side but prefer to stay on the Argentine side.

quite simple. just visit the falls. the town has nothing to offer at all.

It is a base to go to the falls. The town itself is not worth a visit.

Hotel das Cataratas on the Brazillian side is wonderful, you can see the falls from the front lawn. Make sure to go to the Argentinian side as well, as they have the best view of the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat), that puts Niagara to shame.

Worth staying at the Cataratus hotel on the Brazil side for a day or two (if you can afford it). The distant, haunting sound of falling water is everywhere. Then go on one of the day trips to the Argentine side to see the falls close up. Definitely one of nature’s true wonders.
