Gold Coast

Well I live about an hours drive from the goldcoast and its what I classify as “The Entertainment Playground” It has lovely beaches/ Shopping lots of shops deffinately go to Pacific Fair!!! And its fun as!!!! At night the party never stops so much atmosphere its wild!

The Gold Coast is located in South East Queensland, Australia. Popular for it’s long stretching sandy beaches and near perfect climate.

Population: approx 500,000
Airport: located at Coolangatta, serviced by domestic airlines and flights to NZ. Brisbane Airport is closest major international airport.

Attractions: Loaded with theme parks and commercial attractions so you’ll never run out of things to do.

The Hinterland and Mt Tamborine is not to be missed for nature lovers and is a great escape for nature lovers.

There is loads of great restuarants located in Broadbeach and Main Beach which are suburbs of the Gold Coast.

Saw a beautiful double rainbow that disappeared into the water

this place is sooo tacky but the tourists seem to love it.

visited surfer’s paradise, the bird park, movie world .. what else, i forgot. It was in 1993.

Only go to surfers if you are attracted to shiny things. Otherwise the other beaches are nice.

...the trip was pretty memorable – I got engaged on the Gold Coast. Gorgeous guy, gorgeous moment, gorgeous day, ridiculouly gorgeous ring!!

Go clubbing every night if you can if you’re the clubbing type. Otherwise, stay out late still, the atmosphere is quite electric, SAFE and there are heaps of nice, friendly people around still drinking coffees at 11pm at night. :)

Whatever you do, just make sure you rise early one day and head to the beach. The sunrise is magical. Keep watching and you can actually trace the movement of the sun! :)
