Hobart

Hobart is a gorgeous city… went here for a conference in 2003. Would have liked more time to look around, and would like to see the rest of Tassie too!

Will definitely get back here one day.

Tassie was recommended to me in 1984, but I was in a hurry to get to the US.

When I made it back to Aus in 1994 I was determined to get to Hobart. It was lovely – especially Battery Point (I think) where we stayed.

But I’ve never been anywhere before where there was a really hot wind – Every 10 yards or so we had to sit down for a rest. We consumed more ice creams in one afternoon than we usually do in a whole month.

... and I love it!

Hobart is a great small city. I spent a wonderful week here once.

It was rainy when my friend and I went out exploring. We found an apple farm. (The seller their was a fine looking lass who was very attracted to my friend. He suddenly left the vacinity with her calling after him. Apparently, she stunk and he couldn’t take it anymore!)

Good for casinos

Hobart is a very hilly town.
