Vallejo

Vallejo, California
Went to school here and left as soon as I could.
I will never go back. I despise the place.

We lived at 408 Capital Street until I was 3 years old when we moved to Alameda in the Bay Area. My dad was stationed at the naval base in Vallejo back in the mid-Sixties.

Marine World is still worth a visit. I remember when it was called Marine World Africa USA. I think it was better then. Less theme park, more nature.

My boyfriend lives out here… I come out here every week. its almost always sunny. its waaaay cleaner than my hometown. but its boring.. there’s nothing to do out there except eat.. there’s alot of restaurants and food joint out here.. but the police are bored.. i got arrested at marine world on my bithday!! no joke.. but its still a nice place. =)

Vallejo is something I lived next to for two years from 1979 to 1981, when my dad was stationed at Mare Island, where we also lived. Mare Island was all right in its own limited way. Vallejo wasn’t. Though I remember the library was okay enough, I guess. (Big surprise!)

6 flags was cooler when it was still marine world.
healthy animals are cooler than rollercoasters any day…
and the rest of the city is dirty and boring.
