I went to the convention center. Simple, large, lovely. Great acoustics.

The town has lovely spots too, some historical.

A review of this place: i live here and...

you’d probably enjoy visiting someplace else more unless you’re here for a specific reason. upsides: apple orchards and cider mills. downsides: rude locals, lots of crime, depressed local economy and poor arts/music scene for the most part. go for detroit instead, or better yet, chicago.

A review of this place: Lansing

I live about 25 miles from Lansing, so know the area well. We shop alot in Lansing, at the Lansing Mall or Meridian Mall. Lots of theaters, all sorts of restaraunts, a couple cool clubs, and so on. Not a bad town traffic-wise, compared to some. I like it well enough, but prefer to live out where I do. haha

MSU

Lansing is the town where I learned how not to drink. And where I learned what a massive hangover is. And I have a feeling I’m not the only one.

Lansing Michigan is a very Cool City!

The Lansing Michigan area is perhaps the only city of its size in the United States with 3 medical schools, two law schools (including the nation’s largest), State Capital, Supreme Court, Federal Court, a Big Ten University, State Historic Museum, State Library, and a top minor league baseball team.

There is so much to do and see in Lansing. A culture of extremely highly educated people and the cafes and coffee shops. Located less than one hour to Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor. Wow! What a place to live and visit!

Lots of different cultures are found in the Lansing area due especially to Michigan State University which has one of the top international exchange programs in the world.

Michigan State University has more than 200 programs of study and is one of the most beautiful campuses in the United States! Probably the world. Picture perfect. Several beautiful gardens and golf courses adorne the campus. Beaumont Tower is a must see (and hear). The Wharton Center for the Performing Arts sets the record for the number and variety of performances of any college performing arts venues in the United States. It is perhaps the most beautiful performing arts facility in the state of Michigan.

Michigan State University has top athletic programs having won the Men’s NCAA basketball championship in 2000 and having gone to the Final Four each year for most of the past 10 years.

AND DON’T FORGET HISTORIC OLD TOWN WHICH IS A MUST SEE!

A review of this place: Beautiful and middle of the state.

The capitol building and lansing downtown are very beautiful. Lansing is almost exactly at the center of the State and so going to another city in MI makes it so much easy.

Try to stay away from college apartment communities.
This is a peaceful place and people are nice. There are good number of clubs.
One thing that I noticed after a few visits to the clubs is that MOST women who visit clubs here are extremely fat.

Cars are quite cheap here, but you still need to be careful while buying cars. Also cab services are pretty good.

I lived here for almost a year. If I had a chance to go back to Lansing, I will. I love the winters and summers are moderately hot.

The best things I liked about lansing was it is not very busy,
the people are very laid back and it is in the middle of the state.
