The Westin Diplomat!

Has some of the feel of Miami without all of the snooty people. Awesome warm water and easy surf. More appropriate for families than South Beach.

Well, it’s my hometown. And it’s really awesome. Sometimes I take it for granted, but then I walk down the street and there are all of these lights and sounds and you’re never alone. The weather (most people say, I’m partial to cold weather) is gorgeous (except for the occasional, uh, hurricane). I’ve lived in the same place and the same house my whole life, and I can’t imagine it any different. You should definitely visit or move here.

Hollywood, Florida is such a nice place to live and I definitely reccomend it to anyone who wishes to move here or visit. The beaches are wonderful and there are so many things to do in and around Downtown Hollywood. Plus it’s smashed between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, so there’s always something to do. :]

Worth going to if only to eat a burger at Le Tub!

Always check out the Chinese Theater to find your favorite actor’s handprints! My favorites were Steven Spielburg, Whoopi Goldburg, and the Star Wars Cast! Hollywood is a place to add to the list while you’re in California, don’t miss it! Take a picture with your choice from four different Elvis impersonators. Be scared by Bushman. If you’re in the area already, go ahead and try downtown Hollywood, it’s trying very hard to be cool. The best restaurant is Sushi Blues, which, you guessed it, has live blues bands (and great sushi).

If you’re going to Hollywood, there are two places you absolutely MUST visit: Le Tub and Taverna Opa. They’re only a couple of blocks away from each other, so you can enjoy a helluva party dinner at Taverna Opa, then head over to Le Tub for drinks in one of the best dive bars in America.
