A review of this place
For SW Missouri, Springfield is a pretty good town. It and Joplin are this area’s saving grace.

This is a great city… well smaller than a city but bigger than a town haha. There’s a lot of history, and always something to do it seems. I’m moving to finish my degree at Drury University, I’m excited to experience small-city life seeing how I’ve been raised in a town of 5,000. It should be interesting!

It’s not a bad place, really. I just hated it because it’s where I grew up. I lived there for almost 20 years of my life.
I couldn’t stand the people, but I lived in a “bad” part of town. There’s stuff to do, it just gets old after being there for so long.

Springfield’s not a bad old town. There are a lot of colleges, coffee shops, book shops, antique stores, wonderful parks, and museums, which make it worth while. I don’t like the weather, though. I don’t like hot, muggy summers and indifferent winters.

wilson’s creek national battlefield is definitely worth checking out, but be sure to get there about an hour or so before closing time (normally 5pm) so you have plenty of time to take the tour. you drive around to 8 different sites around the battlefield.

I was born at St. John’s hospital in this glorious city. I live about fifteen minutes from Springfield. I live in a small town called Rogersville.

we drive through or past every time we go to visit any of my family. bass pro is awesome, but other than that I’m not a hundred percent sure what’s there. they have a lamberts cafe there but if your going to lamberts, you might as well go to the original one in sikeston.

I was born and raised in Springfield. I’m going back to visit this summer for the first time in six years. I wonder how much has changed in that time.

I lived in Springfield for 18 years. It’s pretty fun. I wouldn’t want to live there again, though. Growing up there was enough.

While it beats Branson, Hollister, Forsyth and Kirbyville it’s still not worth visiting.
I do have to echo the person down there who said ‘Land of intolerance.’ You sure have got that right.
The only place that I went that was worth the 45 minute drive from Branson was Martha’s Vineyard – that’s about it.
