Springfield

For me, springfield is terribly boring.

the new Lincoln museum is like Disneyland. You don’t have to read a thing! Great for the kids. lol

Check out Abraham Lincoln’s house. It’s a really cool place, and the neighborhood around it is beautiful. It’s also interesting to go to the capitol building when the legislators are in session. They have a visitor gallery for you to watch them make and amed new laws.

I feel that I should visit my state’s capital. Somehow my 8th grade class never got to take this trip…

Never stay at the Days Inn on Stevenson. The rooms smell, and everytime I went in the bathroom there was another dead bug. The only thing good about the Days Inn was the free wireless internet, but you can get that almost anywhere.

I went to springfield with my 4th grade class. We probably visited every historical spot there and it was great.

I went here as a youngster; I was fascinated with Lincoln’s house and with his hat still hanging in the foyer—the sort of hat he is shown in whenever a photo shows him in a hat. It gave me the feeling that he might come down the stairs at any moment, take the hat off the rack, and walk out the door going about his business.

This is a nice city.

school trip. saw just all the political places. but it’s really pretty.

I live here and as most people that live in a plac I say the place i live in is boring as hell

Its a nice city. Lots of attractions, nice people, good places to eat. Very nice job rejuvenating the downtown area.
