While attending Cenntennial Job Corps in Nampa witch is about 20 miles away I made Boise my home for the weekends. Requently staying in the hotels on the weekends and exploring the downtown sector as a hobby. Its a beautiful place and its so mellow. Its awesome, i hope i could maby live there for a little while

Boise is the biggest city in the area of Southern Idaho, and therefore offers a lot more to do than the surrounding towns. Things I have done in Boise include visiting friends and family, going shopping, to the movie theater (Edwards), to a wedding (my brother’s), roller skating, walking, and all that usual stuff. It’s nothing extraordinary, but it is something.

The downtown “BoDo” area, as they call it, is kind of lame and commercial/touristy but I think anyone can appreciate the beauty of the surrounding area. It’s a nice little city, nothing to exciting.

We only drove through Boise and didn’t get to check out the surrounding wilderness so I can’t speak to that. The city itself was fairly unimpressive, though.

I went here to visit family and ended up falling in love with the feel of the town. As the capitol of Idaho, Boise has a lot of pressure but you don’t see that in day to day living. Boise is very laid back and not fast paced at all. I hail from Texas and love the laid back life but also miss the thriving of the big city life. Boise is a very personable city.

Well how did it change my life…..Lets see, could it be that I live here and have for a good 9 years, nah that couldnt be it. Boise is Boise, what can I say. Downtown is fun, espcially on a Friday night, lots of interesting people. There almost always something to do and great food to sample. Its not huge but its not small. There’s industry without it becoming a total maniac city. I like it here. It was a nice rest from the fast pace a big city where I was raised. A better place to live, thats for sure. I recommend it for a least a visit and if you dont love it, well then thats ok too.
