Corpus Christi

We are going here in May! I’m so excited! I’ve never been on vacation before ever so to be able to go and relax on a beach for 3 days will be blissfull. We are planning to take my children to both the Lexington and the Aquirium which will be an amazing treat for them. I just know that this trip will be something I will remember for years to come and I love my sweetheart very much and am blessed and thankful he wanted to share something so wonderful with my children and I. I am looking forward to drinking wine on the beach and just enjoying life for the first time in many years.

The HOOKS! Whataburger Field is amazing! Sit behind home plate, enjoy the game, and even catch a neat car riding by on the bridge out in right field!

Good for visiting, not living. If you do get stuck living here, though, spend lots of time on the beach while you’re there.

We went to Padre Island, not South Padre Island and we were the only ones swimming in the warmest, and very clean ocean. It was great. If u make it to Corpus Christi, eat at Hurbs, they have the best, greasiest hamburgers in the world!

I’m from a town near there. There’s not a whole lot of stuff to do there, but it’s worth checking out.

trust me, after about three weeks, you’ll either be pregnant, drunk or both.

momentum is a surf shop that is on padre island just off of corpus christi. Momentum is a surf shop with a very friendly owner who if you are nice to him will give you free stuff. I definitely recomend going here if you need anything that has to do with the water or clothes.

Camping on North Padre… best weekend ever.

Surf Museum is a must. The local restaurant everyone likes is WaterStreet and is right next to the museum. They have a replica of the Nina from Spain there. That is cool. And their minor league team stadium is nice, the Hooks. Drove to the Island, that was great too. Not a huge city, definitely beach town.
