Wichita

A city whose focus is on the aviation industry. Cool Bricktown. Go there! I was here back in ‘02 and went to some underground bar and drank til I couldn’t walk anymore. I did have some issues trying to find the localizer final for Wichita Mid-Continent when I flew in there! I got it confused with McConnell which I belive is east of ICT! Anyways, cool town with lots to see. I found it very clean here!

My first husband, his family and all his friends were from here.

I had some MoVFTY friends here. I still have the friends though they moved.

went home with my old roommate for spring break. it was interesting but not that much. he family was cool though.

I was in the most awesome thunderstorm ever. You haven’t experienced lightning if you haven’t experienced it in Wichita. I thought the whole world was going to explode :S

All I know about this place is that I was born here. And that is more than enough reason for folks to go there. I mean, any state that produced me has to be awesome.

a good buddy of mine lives here and tells me every time I call that this place is a hellhole.. but I thoroughly enjoy myself when I goto visit… maybe it’s because I have a different feel for it since I’m not there all the time

The nearby space museum (in Newton, I guess) was nice.

Relatives used to live here so I would come here and visit them..

I was only about 10 when I lived here, but I remembered I liked it. McConnell AFB is nice.

I spent quite a few years growing up here. It is a quaint place with some interesting history with cow town and such. It’s not exactly a vacation destination in and of itself, but it’s not a bad place to visit or live.
