Stayed for three days
Enjoyed Downtown and that is about it. I am from Houston, TX and it is a big difference from Houston. There is not a lot of places to hang out.

On one of my few road trips between Nashville & Michigan I stopped off here. Didn’t get to do much but it looks interesting. I think it might be worth the stop when I get a chance to do more browsing around.

My cousin lives here on a very nice, homey kind of street. Never been to the city before, but I really enjoyed the place. The weather was cold and gray all weekend, but there was something about the city that made me want to move there. Perhaps if I had seen it when it was really cold, snowy, and icy, I might not have felt the same way, being the Southern hot-house flower that I am.

Cincinnati

Cincinnati is the most beautiful major city in Ohio, and one of the prettiest in the US. Columbus, smack in the middle of a corn field, has NOTHING on Cincy. Unless you’re a 21 year old Natural Light-drinking OSU student, Cincinnati is far superior. It may not be the best for “punks,” but most self actualized people will appreciate the intrinsic beauty of the natural surroundings and the architecture. A world-class symphony, the nation’s best contemporary arts muesum, and dozens upon dozens or art galleries, jazz bars, neighborhood pubs brimming with personality, and an inextinguishable amount of civic pride make Cincinnati a true delight. Is it conservative? Perhaps-Cincinnati has a large number of very large corporations that are very successful. This financial success has lead to a very wealthy and philanthropic community that spends huge amounts on local arts-in that respect, financial conservatism and civic pride has lead to on heck of an American city. There are still very liberal areas—Northside, Downtown, Over-The-Rhine, etc.. ANYBODY will easily find a place here.

I want to visit my Internet pal, Linda, who stays here. She’s been great to get to know and I reckon it’d be fun to meet up.

I’ve been to Cincinnati a few times. Each visit was worth the time spent. The city has a great nightlife. Very good restaurants. The people here are really nice. It’s one of the cleanest cities I’ve been too. Cincinnati is my favorite place to visit in Ohio.

Stay across the river in KY. The hotels are a lot cheaper and if you stay in Florence the at least you know the neighborhood is OK. Cincinnati has some really rough spots that you don’t want to be staying in.

I fell in love in Cincinnati. Two months before I had to leave the United States.
Right now I’m living in Spain and eventhough Cincinnati definately isn’t the place of my dreams, I want to come back as soon as possible!
