Biggest Loser

Went to try out for the Biggest Loser at a casting call in January of 2006. Didn’t get chosen. Since then, I’ve lost close to 50 lbs! Didn’t need them afterall.

Stay downtown!

We stayed in an older hotwl downtown and got upgraded to a suite for free because expedia messed up our reservations. Downtown is gorgeous with lots of shops and dining opportunities. Lots of “american culture”.

Omaha Has it...

Omaha is a good place to live. It has a taste of something from all the big cities without the big-city crap.

Don’t get me wrong. There is a lot of downsides to Omaha but over all the good out weighs it all.

There is a lot of opportunity to grow there and the surrounding areas can be helpful as well.

Brief visit on the way to Kansas City

We stopped here on our way to Kansas City, MO, in 1994 for our youth group’s 75th-anniversary celebration. Train ride from Salt Lake City to Omaha and then vans from Omaha to our destination, it was a blast.

Gosh, I go to Omaha all the time!

I’ve had maybe a dozen photoshoots in Omaha, including my first official shoot nearly 3 years ago. It’s got a lot to offer.

Omaha is fantastic! It’s still a strange midwest town, but completely endearing…I saw a hilarious comic (from NYC) at a comedy club, visited the zoo and Old Town, and had a nice big ol’ slab of midwest steak. The night life is certainly not lacking either, if you know where to go! I went to a dingy bar in a basement with Chinese lanterns and gigantic Mai Tai’s (it might even have been named Mai Tai, I forget…)- it was definitely a cozy little place. Omaha has a special place in my heart!
