If you love ice cream, you have to visit Braum’s! They have the best ice cream. Up where i live they mostly only have frozen custard. So if you love real good ice cream, deff. visit there.

Unfortunately, I think I have only been here for funerals of family members. Tulsa for me is associated with mourning and I doubt I’ll be back unless another such occasion arises. :(

A small town girl from Oklahoma travels the world (well Europe so far) and goes great distances to study and live.
For all the bad stuff people say, there really is no place like home, especially if that home is Tulsa. It was a great place to grow up and I love going back. Although the winters are bitter and the summers are blistering, you can always find someone to talk to about the weather! Plus nothing beats Ranch dressing on everything and Dr. Pepper everywhere!

fantastic city for Oklahoma… wide range of things to do, excellent parks, museums, wonderful houses to just ride around and look at (particularly around 21st and Peroia)

Growing up in Tulsa is like growing up in a furnace both literally and figuratively. First of all it is frickin hot. You’re also surrounded by fire breathing intolerant conservatives. Nevertheless, a hell of a lot of phoenixes escape from here.

I lived here for 2 years. It was a lot more fun than I expected. The temps are EXTREME -cold and hot, but there is a lot to do.

Have family in Tulsa which I’ve visited almost every summer as a teen. Kinda consider it a summer home. I love this place- people are nice, cars are nice and the food is awesome. Eventhough it’s in the Bible belt and it’s technically the Mid-west, people still have that southern hospitality that I was raised with. One of the first things I love doing in Tulsa is going to the Wal-mart at an obscene hour of the night—it’s amazing.
