Atlanta aka: Hotlanta,ATL

Atlanta is a city of contrasts: polished and upscale; sleazy and rundown; down-to-earth people and pretentious people. Lots to see and do. Lots of history. Lots of interesting architecture and neighborhoods. Lots of traffic. Lots of crazy drivers.

Atlanta can be challenging. I like challenging.

Went to visit a friend in April 2008.

My plane landed here from the UK at the start of my Deep South road trip. I stayed one night in a crappy hotel, picked up my car and left. It’s an awful place, a huge ugly city. No doubt there are places to visit here, but I just wanted to hit the road.

our class went here for our class trip and it was amazing! we left columbus, ohio at 9pm and took the “midnight bus to georgia” and slept through the ride. in the morning we went to centennial park, the world of coca cola, CNN, and a whole bunch of other places.

Atlanta is fun. We went to the normal tourist places like The World of Coke, Georgia Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta, a Braves game, Stone Mountain, and The Varsity, but we also had some fun in Buckhead and really enjoyed the bar and food scene.

...while driving through rush hour traffic through downtown Atlanta on my way to Tennessee to see my girl friend. I fly to TN now….

I was with me buddy Derrick for the 1996 Olypics.

I had to go there for two weeks on business. What a great city I can’t wait to return.

It’s my home town. You will not find a friendlier place. Their is always something fun happening in town. The city has a wonderful energy about it and everyone works really hard to make things happen.
