I will give this city some credit where credit is due. The freaking reubens are to die for. The BEST in the country. Holla

from here. I can say for 100% that this is my favorite city in America. It’s the only place in America where you can have barbeque that’s just so damn good. Anyone who wants to know can write and I’ll let you know the best places to get it.

I wanna check out Pine st but I hear theres a starbucks there now.

A wonderful place to find yourself with an old friend, having him feed you great food, passing through town . . .

Plenty of good things to do & not tough to get around…

As I live in the area (just south of KC), I’ve been there a fair amount of times. The Nelson-Atkins museum is nice, and the plaza is gorgeous, but there really isn’t a lot of culture in KC… It gets a fair level of concerts passing through, but none of the smaller or more underground bands, especially not if they’re international. Traffic isn’t bad, but gang violence is huge, especially in the north bits of the city. Differs from most larger cities in that the people are considerably more conservative. UMKC has a nice campus, though, and it’s generally liberal-leaning. If you’re looking for a great big city, you’ll probably want something more coastal, but Kansas City isn’t a bad place to visit once in a while.
