Gorgeous. Future home.

My trip is booked, hotel is booked, and my friend and I are finally going to visit after about 3 years of talking about it!

I finally made it, but I didn’t stay long. I’d like to go back some day and spend at least a week checking things out, looks like my kind of place. I checked out EMP/Sci-Fi Museum and the outside of the Space Needle. I woke up early when there was no traffic and drove around which was nice.

It also has a 4000-space parking lot hidden under part of the campus.

They also have a visitor center where you can take goofy pictures with a cardboard cutout of the founding members of Microsoft. Aw, look how young they are!

There is a conspicuous contrasting lack of facial hair on the Microsoft geek of today. Sadly, though, judging simply from our stroll about the grounds, the ratio of men-to-women employees remains the same. :P
