San Francisco aka: The City, San Fransisco,Frisco

Visited in the beginning of December. A little chilly, but I was expecting that. Did the whole tourist thing: segway tour, Alcatraz, biking across the Golden Gate Bridge to Saulsalito (yeesh, but I made it, burning legs and all!), Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown. Also consumed an outrageous amount of sour dough bread… everyday.

Its amazing, so much that I decided to move here. It has a lot to offer for all types of people. Theres so much to do from simply people watching to tours to dining at great restaurants. Its definitely worth visiting, theres something for everyone!

I was disappointed. I didn’t meet nearly as many gays or hippies as promised…

And the city kind of smells like a landfill.

...and it’s gorgeous, exciting, and unique!

San Francisco must be one of the most beautiful cities on Earth. I’ll never forget the view from across the bay above the Golden Gate Bridge. The city is so unique with the ridiculous hills, the fish market, the museums, and its so easy to get around on BART!

I’m going in February! I want to wander around at see everything I can. I want to eat at some cool restaurants and definitely get some seafood. I also want to (maybe) rent a car and drive north to do some wine tasting.

My dad lives out there and I spent Spring Break with him. One of the best weeks, ya? I’m supposed to go again this Christmas and I looks forward to it.

havent been here in so long, it was about 7 years ago, and we went all over california, id love to do it again ‘coz i dont really remember!

Will be doing a work project here so when its finished I am going to take a few days to relax and enjoy this city

The first time I went to San Fran, I rented a bike and rode across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, taking the ferry back to the “mainland”. This was such a cool experience. It was also slightly terrifying as we did it on a weekend and all the cyclist types were also on the same narrow path…going far faster than nyself and my friend. The added element of “danger” only added to the experience. BEAUTIFUL…and a nice workout. (A good excuse to get a sundae in Ghiradelli that evening.)

my tip to people who are planning on visiting is to avoid coming around the peak of summer time especially mid august to early september because it’s often overcast/foggy. people probably make the mistake of coming here during the peak of summer season thinking it’s going to be sunny. there are days where it’s very sunny and warm but most days are foggy. i’d say come around mid september to mid november. weather is unpredictable throughout the year so bring a sweater.
