We got off the plane and it was -17 F. Luckily it warmed up to 0 by the time we got off the subway. It was freezing but me and my gf had a great time there! Our friend was a great tour guide. Lots of great food and things to see. The Art Institute is great and Lake Michigan is great.

He had a conference to go to for his career and I had to tag along because I’ve always wanted to go to Chicago. I adore big cities.
To be honest I thought it was much bigger than it was and I didn’t see it all so North of the city on the shore might be what my mind was thinking but it was well worth the trip and visit. I loved it even if it didn’t match what my head had had in it for so long.
The coolest thing was how friendly everyone was, how awesome the transportation is and how beautiful the city is – that river and lake are amazing.

I’m so excited! My boss and I will be going to Chicago in July! When he told me that we were going, I had to contain and control my initial excitement. I am so looking forward to this trip!

in the world. It’s clean, the people are nice yet cosmopolitan, It’s very modern, yet brimming with fascinating history, and maybe best of all—the paino bars and blues clubs are brilliant!

Please do not ignore the South side in lieu of the overpopulated, Wrigley-esque, touristy North Side. The South side is vibrant with different ethnic communities and local hang out spots that are every bit as exciting (and not as expensive) as the North.

My sister and I drove all the way from PA to see a concert. From what I saw I loved it, and would really like to go back and really SEE it.
