I was born and raised here til the age of 14. Its a great place to visit, BUUUt I will NEVER live here again.

I’m looking forward to taking a break from NoCal and visiting L.A. But it’s for probably geeky reasons. Not for star-gazing but for visiting the fabric and yarn shops I keep seeing on the fashion reality tv shows and reading about in magazines. I will be on the serious prowl for the biggest bead stores around. I just hate driving and don’t know how I can manage being in a town without decent mass transpo.

Lived in Los Angeles about 2 years ago and miss it a lot! Definitely worth visiting if you’re not into the big city or night life.

When you come to LA, you will want to move here. The ambiance is so laidback and relaxed that you feel you have no worries. If you are in the east coast, everything is so fast-paced that no one has time for anything or anyone. In LA, you realize that work is not everything and everyone needs a little fun. It might be due to the amazing weather or just people’s way of thinking, but it definitely makes you realize what’s important.

I am super excited to be heading to LA for almost a week and a half to visit my best friend. It’s time that I get out of DC and head to one of the places that I have been wanting to visit. This weekend I plan on creating a list of the things I want to do while I am in Cali.

I’m glad that I am able to experience it with one of my favorite people ever. This is the trip that I need right now. I can talk and talk to someone who is the same way as me, and I don’t have to dumb anything down for her.

LA HERE I COME!

Well LA was where I was born and raised! Love it there, but it’s much more fun to visit if you know people who live there because they can show you all the good shit, not just a bunch of tourist junk (which really isn’t worth seeing). The party scene in San Francisco is better but every band comes through LA, which is awesome.
