Went for Neeraj’s marriage… Man Srovar …liked the area..and the ride in the bus from the station to the place specifically for the music that was playing.

Beautiful and pinki and heritage city with lots to discover and lots to do … and lots to eat and lots to buy

Loved it for its old forts, Rajputana palaces
Hot but lovely warm people
and amazing food… and ofcourse, amazing Indian handicrafts..
Will go there soon just for shopping trip :)

Amber fort is pretty impresiive – good workout on a hot day as well!

I stayed at the Chokhi Dhani resort on the outskirts of Jaipur. Highly recommend at least EATING here. The restaurant is very Indian style. THey make you sit on the floor and the food is AWESOME.

skip the pink city and hit the blue city! i recommend jodhpur over jaipur.

One of the most beautiful places in the world. I love the amazingly hot, dry climate. It bakes you in its warmth. The hospitality and food is amazing; a traditional jaipur meal is a feast which leaves you absolutely stuffed. I particularly enjoyed Jantar Mantaar and amber palace which I toured on an elephant.

In western countries, you might be familiar with the concept of “road head.” I had the unique experience of touring the palace on an elephant and getting “elephant head.”

Proof-positive that here are more things in heaven and earth than dreamt of in our philosophy, eh?

I thougth that Jaipur was okay, worth visiting but also overrated. Yet, riding on an elephant in the Elephant Parade was one of the highlights of my last trip to India.
