Portsmouth

hi, i have lived in portsmouth my whole life although i grew up in the suburbs of portsmouth (farlington)

i think portsmouth has something for everyone but it has to be reasearched before you arrive i think. thankfully there is alot of information online :)

theres obviously the new tower which look great even if the locals enjoyed complaining about how long it took almost as the much as the country enjoyed moaning about the millenium dome. hpwever it is now finished and has brilliant views and a scary glass floor for brave people to use. plus it is in gunwharf which is a great place to shop for cheap designer brands and things to remember portsmouth by

theres the naval dockyard which is great if you are into history and the D-day museum further along the seafront. there is blue reef which is out aquarium. its not as massive as anything you would have in londom but it is really good, informative and child friendly.

theres lots to do and see for tourists so have fun!!

It’s changed a lot over the last few year with new developments such as Gun Wharf and most recently spinnaker tower. Definately worth a visit and not just because you are getting a ferry to France.

Walk around the cobbled streets of Old Portsmouth and you can imagine it in the days of the spice trade. Sit in the Still and West and have a pint of HSB and watch the world go by.

Shopping, dining, wandering, and seeing historic sites!

I only went once with my family on a camping trip when I was a very small child.
We all bundle in the VW campervan and headed west. portsmouth final destination!. I remember the huge Pyramid swimming pool!
I remember walking in some kinda square eating an ice cream and being trrified of the_ huge _birds flapping around me.
I would like to go back, but maybe in years to come!_

I live close to portsmouth and the spinniker tower is completly breathtaking when you get to the top!

A vacation Portsmouth is a good way to recover from a vacation in France
