Its where i live. If you stay away from certain areas, Youll be fine in sheffield!

I lived not far from here (Wath-upon-Dearne, Rotherham) and I used to go at least twice a week. The city itself is nice but if you are just visiting the best thing to do is to use it as a base to explore the surrondins, with loads of interesting places. If it is rainy and miserable (as it will probably be at Christmas) you can go to Meadowhall, a big mall in the outskirts with the most beautiful Christmas decorations I’ve ever seen!.

I lived here for a couple of years.
