Norwich

So, I’m going to UEA for the Spring 2009 semester. I’m an Arizona girl, so I have no idea what to expect and what I should do while there (besides study and hit the pubs, of course!) and I’m wondering if any locals or travellers have any suggestions for me? It’d be helpful!

im going to uea in beautiful norwich and even before I’d gotten halfway to the campus I knew it was the one. I cannot wait. It’s just so wonderfully gorgeous. Think masses wild rabbits! Good god i love the place, any excuse to go there! It makes me wish that my parents had been “only english holidays” people, but perhaps then i wouldn’t love it as much. Who needs some touristy part of spain? euch!

I saw a exposition of sculptures on ice. I visit the castle and surroundings. I passed whole the day walking with my dog, Mizar.
This day in Saint Andrews Church was a performance of flamenco :)

I went to university here and love the city. It feels really small and safe despite being a city and the nightlife is ok. The shops are good – with a nice range of boutiques in addition to the normal chains.

I have family that live in Norwich and I took my wife down there. we fell in love with it and visited quite a few times more.

If I hadn’tve moved to New York then Norwich is the place I’d go.

I lived in Europe for a year in Thetford. However most of my shopping would be done in Norwich. I loved the relaxing atmosphere and the shopping. I loved the mall that was there when I visited. My favorite memory was driving up there to hit the Toys R Us to send gifts back for my nephew for Christmas.

I went to university in Norwich, a four year course with an exchange year in America. On my exchange year, though, I fell in love and never went back to Norwich. I never got to say goodbye!

I’ve been living here now for a year, the people are friendly, the beer is great and the streets are beautiful.

I got bored here easily. But I hear they just built another mall 200 yards from the other one.

Norwich is home to so many fantastic people and places.
It will always be my home.
