Luzern aka: Lucerne

I spent New Years here last year and it is an amazing city! Incredible to see to swiss alps so close up. We partied the night away in an old prison they had turned into a nightclub and hotel, it as unreal!! Such a beautiful place!

after St.gallen, witch i don’t lik at all…i live in Luzern…and so, 4 everybody who wants to go here…they are welcome in one of the most beautifull cities at the lakeside…

I sang at the KKL with the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 2001, and I am returning in 2007 to sing with the BSO again.

This is actually for Switzerland in General. Went to visit in May – June. Make sure you bring a fleece jacket and pants. It was COLD! I came from France which was a little warmer then..I only had some shorts…but boy..Switzerland was cold. I ended up having to buy pants when I got there.

Loved Luzern…the chapel bridge was pretty,pretty, pretty.
The people were awesome too!

Switzerland is probably the most beautiful place I have ever been. Luzern is a wonderful city that I would defiantly go back to. When I was there I took a boat ride to Mt. Pilatus. Here is a picture from the boat ride.

Don’t miss the boat tour on the lake you’ll see the most amazing view from there.

Don’t miss the Glacier Garden and House of Mirrors next to the Lion Monument.

I was in Luzern for my 17th birthday on 2/22/07. I even got my belly button pierced! I went with a group from school along with a group from billerica and a group from michigan. We took a boat ride around the lake and it was absolutly beautiful. The city is spectacular and the shopping is wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone.
