Laid back, very moorish feel. You spend hours just getting lost in the maze of alleys around the Cathedral area of Granada… Grab a falafel and stay awhile. This place is best experienced when you grab a glass of sangria and stay awhile

Granada has lots of young people everywhere, and the arab fashion is very present. Go to hotel America, it’s very cheap, and it’s nicely located.

If you’re going to the Alhambra, go early, 8:30 am

I went there feeling really down, but I met some really cool tourists at the school I went to to improve my Spanish (Carmen de las Cuevas) and they helped me get my head screwed back on straight.

Not much, but it means a lot to me.

Eshavira!

There is an incredible Jazz club called Eshavira. postigo de la cuna (2)—phone 958 29 08 29.

The owner is a old-time, big time anarchist, and the club is magnificent.

Unbelievable scenery and neighborhoods – a must-see on any Spanish itinerary.
