Łódź aka: Lodz

Łódż is the second biggest city in Poland :s… I’m living here for 3 months know and i think i couldn’t choose a better city to live while I’m here as an Erasmus student… it’s big but quiet so it has all the good things of a big city but is not so confuse, like Warsaw or even Krakow (that has less inhabitants than Łódż..)
i agree that is not a good city for a tourist to spend lots of time…it’s an old industrial city…but the life here is amazing… worth visit!!!

I come from Łódź and I know it is worth visiting. You just have to know where you can see… and enjoy;)

This place is great! I’m not a native, but I’ve been living here for a year on an exchange program. I couldn’t have asked for a better town. It has everything you need, and PARKS lots and lots of really beautiful parks! And even though it’s a wonderful city, it’s not really touristy, so that’s even better. Places like Warsaw and Krakow are nice, but I couldn’t stand to live in a place that has such a touristy atmosphere. Everyday, my friend and I spend hours just walking and finding new things. This is GREAT because even when things look boring on the outside, with a little more exploration, you find out how much fun you’ve been missing! Definately a place worth visiting and exploring for yourself! :o)

i’ve been living here since my birth and though i love ppl from here i’m realy willing to move abroad as soon as possible:P Not only because i’m not in favour of my own city, but also because it’s POLAND ( this word speaks for itself:P)

I was surprised, because everybody said how dirty and poor this town is. But people, let me say it is not so. There are a lot of artists and theatre people in town. And that gives this city a special esprit. You should not miss. And it is as dirty / clean as some other city in the world

I was born and raised here for 10 years! Lodz is a beautiful city with lots to do!

I liked this little town, but didn’t have much time to check it out. It has a nice little university in it, which was in good condition. The countryside on the way from Warsaw was beautiful, and even more so on my ride home; the mist covered all but what was within a stone throw’s view, and as the sun rose slowley in the countryside and drove the mist away, the sweet green burst forth. As far as the city goes- I didn’t get time to find the better side of this place, so don’t take my word for it.
