Arnhem

watch out of the guy who askes you if he can ask you a question

...Last year, for a Madonna gig at the Gelredome. I really enjoyed the Burgers Zoo (is that spelt correctly??)

We visited Arnhem a while ago. and it was great!!! very nice people.

Although it might seem boring and strange it is really not. The most important (or at least i think so because i love it) design university of the Netherlands is there, and also art schools, dance, music, so many many interesting people live there, lots of culture, loads of young people, great night life and a very nice market on firdays and saturday mornings. Eusebiuskerk is great and you must go there if you go from Amsterdam to Germany.

i live in a small place near anrhem called Elst, but whenever i need anything, or just want to party, i go to Arnhem. youll find it has all the things you need in a big, fun city!

I lived here for school for a while with my husband. I found it really nice because you can ride your bike everywhere you want to go and there are plenty of cows to greet you when you bike past parks and fields. Sometimes, it was hard for me to not live in the fast paced lifestyle I am used to in the states, but I got used to it. Nothing is open on Sundays and stores always close at around 5 or 6pm. People in Holland still like to take breaks. I went to Werkplaats Typographie for a visit and got to meet Karl Martens, something I never imagine happening in my life. That was awesome. They had us over for dinner and we got to look through their library and talk about design. What fun. My experience at my school Hogeschool voor de Kunst in Arnhem/ArtEZ, was also a good one. It taught me alot about design which really imporved my ideation and process in my work. I heart HOLLAND!

Great place, the john frost bridge (a bridge too far) , war graves around, the house that was centre of operations for Market Garden, nice town centre, Burguess (sp) Bush (brilliant Place, zoo, safari, sealife centre and desert exhabitions all in one place) rosendaal is close by with its house and gardens, ( audrey hepburn and mother lived her in the war)

I found the world coolest cafe here once and never found it back. Its a music store and a cafe in one but with rather alternative music. If you find it..never forget where it is!
