I spent my last 2008 week en NYC. What a great city! it has plenty of places to go, things to do, people to meet… and being on Times Square on Dec 31 cannot be compare with anything.

We waited for 10+ hours standing on Times Square, and the shared adrenaline at midnight it’s so high that cannot be described.

Totally worth doing it!

Smack anyone who doesn’t like New York because they are stupid. New York is the best city the world has and I don’t care what anyone says because it is amazing and beautiful and I love it more than I love where I live now. I grew up there and it is my home no matter where I move!It is a great city because you can walk anywhere and if you’re tired there’s almost always a cab. At night you fall asleep to all those beautiful twinkling lights and wake up smiling. There is the best shopping by far and most definitely the best food. Is there any reason you should not love it? NO!!!! So you should, and once you go there you will probably love it as much as I do!

So much to do! Get the citypass and you can see a ton of stuff, skip a ton of lines and save some money! Amazing!

I totally forgot about visiting NYC!! But I was just a boy and barely left the hotel room…Which was probably one heck of a good idea on our parents’ part back in the 70s…!!

I went went as a chaperone for a group of college students on an overnight trip. We went to see “The Color Purple” on Broadway. It was fabulous! The traffic and the flood of people never seemed to stop. I’ve never been anyplace more congested—even Paris! We didn’t really get to explore as I would have liked.

I love taking the train from New Jersey there! It’s a great place to just walk around and people watch. Oh and shop and sight-see ;]
