The elevators are really nice… kind of insecure at that time, but still worthwhile

Backpacked in a day. Use your legs & climb those stairs—the view is worth it. Also make sure to make friends in the local hostels & hang out in a coffee shop!

Wonderful!
Valparaíso was built to fall in love of it.
It is an important harbour city.
Houses are built on the hills. Their streets are endless STAIRS.
Architecture is very colourful.
Valparaíso reminds past, History is alive here.
Marvelous!!!

Take a side trip out of Santiago to Vinha del Mar or Valparaiso. They are a couple of ours out of the city and easily reachable from the Station of Universidad de Santiago (by buses that depart every 20 min from two companies).

One of Pablo Neruda houses is there.

Charming towns, with intricate streets, nice food, and wonderfull people.

the most whimsical city in all of south america! Amust see, that is if you’re hungry for some eye candy!!!
