Recife

Recife is a beautiful unique city! Most for its architecture, bridges and rivers that cross the town.

I heard that recife was amazingly beautiful. I have a dream to drive dune buggies all the way from here to Fortelleza along the beach.

The last time I went to Recife was February 2006. I stayed for 2 months and had a blast. Beaches are INCREDIBLE. Especially if you venture a bit further away from Recife itself into the burbs.

Completely Worth! Especially at Carnival.
Recife is one of the oldest cities of Brazil, with a rich History. The Dutch Invasion, the first jews of Americas, many revolutions.
The best beaches are in the cities around it (Porto de Galinhas, Itamaraca).
The Recife Antigo is the best place to visit.

Beautiful historic buildings, churches, beaches…

It’s got some pretty spots and lots of history.

I took a group to Recife to work with a local church. The people won our hearts with their hospitality and generosity.

I loved this place. Of course, the people were the biggest reason. I can’t say how it would be to visit the city proper as a tourist, but the beaches near this area are amazing. It’s best if you know somebody local as you’ll get invited to the local activities in a more proper way.
