Durham

I hate to say this, but I really don’t like this city. It leaves much to be desired in my humble opinion. I’m a frequent visitor, because of my boyfriend, but if he was there I would be there either. And don’t get my wrong they have awesome schools, but I don’t care for the city at all.

I love the book stores.

This one was really close. I’d say it’s close because of the Duke Memorial Garden, the lemur research center, and the fact that there’s a little bit of grit and funk that wants to come out of this town.

But that’s overwhelmed by the boringness and the Dukiness of the place. Plus downtown is dead, and that includes Ninth St. Go see some lemurs and then go to Chapel Hill.

Pretty. Then again most of N.C. is…

I wouldn’t mind living here.

I have family in Durham and have had the good fortune to spend some time down there visiting them, so most of my Durham memories are wrapped up with good family thoughts.

I’ve lived here since 2001. It’s an interesting city.

This is a beautiful city with a lot of diversity. More people should come see what we’re all about. :o)
