I almost went to Milan in 2002 when I lived in Spain, but some train problems combined with a US advisory against travel to Italy made it so that we didn’t go there after all. I want to check out the Last Supper (we had reservations to see it, and everything!). There is also another version of the horse sculpture in Frederich Meijer Gardens, Grand Rapids, Michigan, which is where my wedding reception was.

In Italy, it was strange to me, they have something like dinner(“apperitivo” they call it). It lasts from arround 19 to 21 (depends on the place)and you order drink for 5 to 10 euros and you get food “all you can eat”. I recommend Spanish place in center of Milan, “Mas”.

Very nice food, coctails, staff… everything, and it’s near water. Very enjoyable!

It was a reality check when I first went over seas, but being in Milan (and also Florence) I was able to see how people were so similar, and so different, from myself. It made me realize how much I want to travel the world and see everyone and everything!

just stopped through the city – the guys I traveled with didn’t want to stay the night. I want to go back and stay for a few days to really get to know the place. It was hard finding a decent hostel – such a shame.

Basically the fashion headquarter of Italy (or Europe, or the world?). Many stylish people dressed in designer brands here and there – beautiful sight ;). But other than that there are not much things to do…
