This is one of those cities where you go, meet nice people, make new friends easiely and have a great time. I spent 4 days there and it was the best time in my vacation. They have nice places to drink coffee and there is a Villa Biarritz market every saturday morning.

Mini-Buenos Aires

Similar culture and architecture, less egocentric people than Buenos Aires.

Worth going there, you can take the BuqueBus ferry to/from Buenos Aires.

Worth visiting. We went at Carnival time, and the parade was great to watch. I love the Candombe music as well, very catchy and lots of fun.

Depressing

While the people were kind, there were pickpockets and graphiti. Not a nice life right now for most folks, as far as I could tell.
