Doha

it was cool

I can’t wait to go back some day. The mall here was great (a starbucks on every level) as well as lot of great places to eat and if you get tired of driving around the city you can always go lounge at the Ritz-Carlton.

It was 113 degrees and I lazed around the pool all day. I did absolutely nothing…and it was everything that I thought it could be.

I spent a week here for business last march, it’s a very busy city.
Nice place to visit.

I used to live in Doha all my life the last time i was there in 1992. Now the place changed allot you are not going to recognize Doha any more. huge urban development and nice archetecture state of the art building. living in doha as a teenager was very nice no malls were there in my life time, used to hang out at the Center. I wish I can go back there one day. Sand Dunes are the best for 4WD, the beach is nice, Doha Club, Sheraton are good places to visit. but it is a must go if you are in that area.

This place is more dynamic and technologically advanced than all 50 US states. go here.

Whilst the old airport is horrendous, Doha itself is fabulous.
I was there for 7 days and i wish i could’ve spend another week there. And it’s true, it is indeed booming! There are futuristic skyscraper construction sites everywhere, (i mean, everywhere, ..literally!) being worked on 24hours – it’s crazy.
The old town and traditional markets are enchanting, the hotel complexes are luxurious and the desert dunes are fascinating.

I’m really curious about how it will look in 1,2 years!

Good shopping

I just passed Doha airport to transfer. A good interchange to connect Europe and Asia.

I’ve been in Doha for almost 3 years. It’s booming !!!
