Lisboa aka: Lisbon, Lispoa

I’ve been going here since I was eight and every time I find something new, it’s exciting and viberant with a great mix of people, and with cerveza and a pastel de natas you can’t go wrong.

Unfortunately my travels were only when on business. But I did manage to walk around a little. As is the case with most European cities, you’re surrounded by history and a lot of very nice people.

make sure you go to sintra too, it’s only like 15 minutes away.
and lisbon is WONDERFUL.

beautiful place…!!! never tought Lisbon was so organized, we (brazilians) should respect then, why we talk so many dumn things about them???

Some of the friendliest people on earth

I don’t remember a thing about Lisboa. I travelled there with my parents in 1981, when I was 6 months old. While we were there, in Spain happened what then was called ‘the 23-F’. My life could have changed so much!

I felt in love of thsi place after seeing a film from Win Wenders.
It’s overwhealming

was for the Euro 2004. Didn’t see too much of Lisbon, so will have to return!

aaaah, Alfama, Bairro Alto, Praça do Commercio, Belém, the Ocean.
I can still feel the smell of Lisboa.
And the taste! yum, pastis de belem…

We lucked out and ended up in Lisbon celebrating St. Antonio Festival I believe it was called. What a blast, there’s parades forever and people in strange costumes prancing around. Get down there early and try some sardines. We went to the Bairro Alto afterwards which was also good fun but I hear people go to the castle to party…I couldn’t be bothered to walk all the way up there again.

The next day is a holiday but the post office is open surprisingly. It’s a good day to go to Sintra, that’s where we went. Beautiful beautiful place…I come from Canada and I was still astounded by the nature in Sintra.

The city overall is really cute, people are very friendly, I want to go back!! The ups and downs will ensure that you get a bun and thigh workout, you can’t go wrong.
