Reykjavik

I am going to be in Reykjavik for about a day and a night during a stop over on my way to Copenhagen. Since I only have a very very short time there I want to make sure to make the most of it! What do I absolutely need to do/see in those 24 hours?

I’d LOVE to go to Iceland. I’m supposed to be going around Easter time with my Geography class at school, but it’s probably going to be way to expensive. Damn I hope I can afford to go..

Try to get to one of the outdoor public geothermal swimming pools. Icelanders congregate there to socialise the way that Brits do in pubs. It’s a great experience :)

go during the summer- theres only 2 hours of darkness and its still light out at midnight!

Go in the off season. Avoid the crowds and bring loads of money. You are going to need it!
