Nice accurate city. Many streets are rather beatiful in the evenings.

Combined the trip to Minsk with a journey Berlin – Moskau. Well Minsks history is full of blood.

what is the best way to enjoy this city?

I took 48 kids to macdonalds! it was hilarious since none of them had ever been and it was like £2 for a big mac meal!, i worked at a summer camp and it was great deffinately some where to go!

I grew up there and it was a wonderful childhood… But don’t live there anymore and I get a bit nostalgic. Minsk, like every city in the world, has its unique points. Find out for yourself…

I was invited to my friend’s wedding. The wedding was great! However I had only two days to spend in this city and I found people are gentle there. The city looks very clean and peaceful. It also reminds about old Soviet times.

here on a mission trip to work with adolescents about 6 years ago. the kids were great and the place was interesting. culurally it was very different from my experiences within the states, western europe and central america. i’ve never experienced anything else like it.

As far as I’m aware my train from Moscow to Warsaw passed through Minsk… OK, it doesn’t really qualify, but I was there, I have set foot on a station in Belarus!

hardly a luxury destination, but if you want to get to know some of the warmest, kindest folks living under quite the oppressive government, go to minsk.
