Ive been here for 3 years and this is IMHO the best place to be in…and I have been to over 90 countries ….

Theres loads to do..always something happening music, nature, museums, great food…and you dont need lots of money for it.

Its clean, its green and its definitely NOT sterile.The locals are the best thing about the place is the friendly, honest and really nice people one meets.

I’m not Singaporean but I am proud to be a part of this wonderful country!

I love Singapore

are magnificent.

i love this country it’s so clean… and people are so nice… and it’s like 0 crime rate…i’ve visited this place for a couple of days… but it made me think of moving in that place…

The first and only time ive been here, Had just come from Paris on the way home to Sydney and had picked up some pretty bad food poisoning. for the first 3 nights we stayed in a pretty grotty hotel in little India that smelt like paint fumes and curry. needless to say, it didn’t make me feel any better. i couldn’t even leave the room i felt so sick!
On the 4th night we splurged and moved into the shangra la. Unfortunatly didn’t last the night and ended up in hospital on a drip ready for the 5am flight home.
would love to go back and see some of the place.

I was impressed with how clean and orderly Singapore is. I enjoyed walking the streets, and felt safe at all hours of the day and night. It was a beautiful place. I loved the architecture in some of the older sections of the city. Also interestting to me was the melding of many cultures, Chinese, Indian, Malay, and European.

It was one of the top two places I’ve ever wanted to go. I loved every minute of my days in Singapore. Great food, friendly people and beautiful weather!

amazing place, almost unreal in terms of cleanliness and friendliness. it should be introduced in schools all over the world as part of education to visit singapore and learn. it may not be fair to compare a dot on the map to a bigass continental country as far as cleanliness go, but kids would get the idea.. who would pay? eum…

it’s an extremely small place, so you can see the best of singapore in a very short span of time. quite cosmopolitan and convenient for travelers, although it does tend to feel a little too… manufactured? manicured? at times. the food is great though, quite a diverse selection of asia’s best cuisines. read more here!
