Maine aka: ME

I went to Acadia National Park for Labor Day weekend and stayed at Blackwoods Campgrounds. The campground was wonderful (although I recomend making reservations) and the park is absolutetly beautiful. If you go up there, you MUST go up to Cadillac Mountain for the sunrise, it is the most amazing sight you will see. I highly recomend this place for anyone who just loves the outdoors and nature. I can’t wait to go back again!!!

I visited Maine for the first time in August, 2007. It was a positive experience, and the sceneries were breathtaking. The lobsters were fresh, just like the air.

Save yourself $100 and get your lobster down at the docks. So many little hole-in-the-wall places, even lunch trucks, have the freshest lobster at unbelievably low prices.
I’ve visited several times, as tourist and as a guest of locals. Each visit was unique but always relaxing and breathtakingly beautiful. And I’ve never left hungry : )

Maine is a great place to escape , use to go up and stay at our friends cabin on a lake it was great times!

I used to go camping/river rafting every summer, but after having a near-death experience on the Kennebec river, I stopped going. I will definitely go again when I get over it, which I think I have.

I stayed on Whitehead Island off the coast for three weeks, with no electricity or running water, repairing a historic lighthouse. It tought me that there is more to life than my tv and my car.

Because I grew up in southern New England and never got to see Maine because we didn’t have the time or money for day trips.

Someday, when I’m visiting family, I may drive up to Maine to see another part of New England.

I really liked Maine. Beautiful water, rolling hills, trees, moose, rocks – its fresh and clean and beautiful.
