Arizona aka: AZ

I went to visit my “friend” Friend is in quotes because he was more than that, but had moved there so I had to resign myself to being “Just friends” Dear lord if I coulda changed that!!! We visited with his family, they showed me the sights, he was very much a gentleman….I stayed at their house and, he told me later, he wanted to knock on the bedroom door—but he didn’t…and oh, if he had, things would be SO different now!!
I loved Tucson..but more, I loved his family and the guy living there. My mind set there was ‘oh I’m visiting my friend’ We stood on top of ‘A’ mountain near the university and looked down on Tucson… I’ll never forget the view…so expansive!
The visit was way too short and even after I came home, he continued to call me daily….

or.. more so, is going to change my life. the hubbie and i visited it a little over a week ago, and we’re moving there in may. we had it in our minds a while ago, but it’s a reality now. the visit was great. we saw how much the phoenix area is flourishing and are completely sick of this area.

we saw the grand canyon, tempe, flagstaff… it’s all so gorgeous.

here we come!

i took so many pictures of this landscape that was so foreign to me, and interesting and beautiful and i maybe otherwise i wouldn’t have ever visited, and i wouldn’t trade that first trip for anything in the world.

That’s how long I’ve been going here.

Scorpions suck, cockroaches suck, blazing, constant heat sucks.

But the sunrises are beautiful, the pools are cool, and the flowers after the rain remind you that good things can come from nothing.

I moved to Arizona in 2006. I didn’t want to live here, but slowly it is growing on me. I dont like the drivers, they’re crazy campared to were I am from.

My daughter and I visited the Grand Canyon not long ago and it was awesome. We had such a great time. It is awe inspiring to see it in personl. We also enjoyed going to Sedona and the artistic flair that permeates the air there is wonderful.

i’d really like to move here. i live in pennsylvania now and i absolutely can not stand the winters. arizona is beautiful and warm. any advice?

My uncle and aunt live in Tuscon Arizona. My mom and I visited them while on a road trip. We spent a day going to visit Kartchner Caverns State Park and it was a very spiritual trip. The Caverns are fantastic and not touristy. They specifically designed the park to preserve the caverns and the steps they’ve taken are incredible. I would recommend this trip to anyone who is awed by nature.

I’ve lived in Arizona too.It’s actually pretty cool!Although Arizona Seems Super Hot In The Summer,it has the best scenery ever!Btw,have you ever been to Castles and Coasters?It’s a really cool theme park!Here is a pic of it above.
