I’d love to see a horizon of beautiful white glaciers. I want to see the Aurora Borealis too.

Sitka, Alaska was a very special place for me. I was able to visit here several times because my relatives lived there.

I lived in Alaska for about a year when I was younger. Cant remember much but I have some family friends that still live up there and they love it. I really want to visit them and try to see the Northern Lights. I hope I will be able to either in the winter or next year. It seems like a really nice place. All I can remember is that it was really cold so I will make sure I bring plenty of warm layers.

I would love to spend my birthday (the summer solstice) in Alaska at least once: no night!
I’d also love to travel here expressly to photograph the aurora borealis.

I went for a week long voyage on a small 12 person boat called the Catalyst. It was absolutely awesome and I would recommend it highly to anyone that was considering going to see the inside passage. If you’re thinking about cruising the inside passage think about a small boat because they can go to places that larger ships can’t reach.

My ideal for this trip is to cruise around Alaska and also take several additional days to be on the land and experience the coldness. But for the most part, we would view the untainted wilderness from the luxury of a cruise liner. :)

Went to Alaska for a 2 week vacation to Skagway, Juneau, Anchorage, Fairbanks, Ketchikan, Denali National Park, Prudhoe Bay and Coldfoot. Loved the remote, rugged areas the best!
